3. Booking, Commitment Deposit & Design Process

3.1 A booking and commitment deposit is required to secure a fitting date and reserve diary time for the customer’s project.

3.2 Booking dates are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and are not confirmed until the required deposit has been received and acknowledged by Topaz Bathrooms Ltd.

3.3 Once the deposit has been received:

·       The fitting date will be reserved.

3.4 The deposit will normally be deducted from the final labour balance unless it is retained in accordance with the cancellation terms below.

3.5 The deposit is separate from any product payments and is intended to confirm commitment, secure diary time and cover pre-start planning, design and administration work where applicable.

3.6 Initial design work may include a design based on the agreed brief, budget range, survey information and customer selections. Reasonable amendments may be included as set out in the Project Guide or accompanying correspondence.

3.7 Additional design revisions, changes of direction, repeated redesigns or major specification changes may be charged separately or may require revised pricing before further work proceeds.

3.8 Topaz Bathrooms Ltd reserves the right to pause design, quoting or ordering work if clear decisions, approvals or requested information are not provided by the customer within a reasonable time.

4.1 Products and materials must be paid for prior to ordering unless agreed otherwise in writing.

4.2 Ownership of all supplied products remains with Topaz Bathrooms Ltd until paid for in full.

5. Customer Changes, Specification Choices & Budget Levels

5.1 Customers may be guided towards a suitable specification route or budget level based on the agreed brief, survey information and product choices.

5.2 Budget levels, product allowances and specification guidance are provided to help set expectations. They do not guarantee a fixed final price unless all products, works and finishes are confirmed in the written estimate.

5.3 Upgrading products, changing layouts, adding features or selecting items outside the agreed allowance may alter the project price, lead time and installation programme.

5.4 Customers may request changes to the project specification at any stage, but any change after the estimate has been accepted may require repricing.

·       Restocking charges.
